Our Best Answer: Will I get a refund if I drop or withdraw from a class?

Refund Schedule

When you drop classes, you may have a tuition liability depending on the date you dropped. You may receive a full or partial refund if you drop by the priority drop dates. See the Refund Period calendar below.

If you officially withdraw from a course after the refund period, you owe 100% of the tuition of the classes plus fees. You will not be entitled to a refund. If the amount you've paid is less than the tuition (and/or tuition obligation) plus fees, you are responsible to pay the balance to the college. Please check your account balance in your CUNYfirst account or by visiting the Bursar's Office C110.

Refunds are processed automatically by CUNY on a weekly basis. Your refund check will be mailed to your address in CUNYfirst. Please make sure your address is up-to-date by checking your CUNYfirst account.
