Official graduation from LaGuardia is marked by the conferral, or awarding, of the degree. Conferral typically occurs 2 to 3 weeks after the end of the session in which all requirements were completed. The transcript will have a notation of degree conferral, which includes the date of conferral, the degree type, and the major area of study.
