Our Best Answer: Do you offer GED/HSE preparation classes?

High School Equivalency Programs

LaGuardia Community College offers many free and low cost programs to serve the needs of students who are seeking their high school equivalency diploma, including adults, Spanish speakers,  out-of-school youth and young fathers.

In order to earn a New York State high school equivalency (HSE) diploma, you need to pass the General Educational Development (GED®) exam. Our courses prepare you to take the GED in either English or Spanish and focus on developing knowledge and skills in math, reading, writing, social studies and science, the five areas of the GED. In addition, you?ll receive support services such as tutoring as well as college and career advisement and exploration. Our programs offer flexible schedules.

For all high school equivalency program information, please contact Adult Basic Skills at (718) 482-5385 or apply here.

LaGuardia is also an official testing center, administering the GED on a regular basis. For more information on the GED, please visit High School Equivalency Exam / GED Testing Center.
