Our Best Answer: Do you offer HSE/GED preparation classes?

High School Equivalency Programs

LaGuardia Community College offers many free and low cost programs to serve the needs of students who have not finished high school, including adults, Spanish speakers, Deaf and hearing impaired, out-of-school youth and young fathers.

In order to earn a New York State High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma, you need to pass the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), which has replaced the GED. Our courses prepare you to take the TASC in either English or Spanish and focus on developing knowledge and skills in math, reading, writing, social studies and science, the five areas of the TASC. In addition, you’ll receive support services such as tutoring as well as college and career advisement and exploration. Our programs offer flexible schedules.

For all HSE program information, please visit room C400 or contact Adult Basic Skills at (718) 482-5385 or apply here.

LaGuardia is also an official testing center, administering the TASC on a regular basis. For more information on TASC, please visit High School Equivalency Exam / TASC Testing Center.
