Problems with Registration

Usually, if an issue arises while registering for a class, students will receive an error that tells them exactly what the issue is. For example, if a student anticipates failing a class in Session I but no grade is posted, and they want to re-register it for Session II, they will receive this error: “You are already enrolled in this class. Multiple enrollment for this class is not allowed.” This is because, without a final grade, CUNYfirst still considers the previous course open and active. Once the instructor posts the final grade, re-registration becomes possible.

Should any errors arise that require further intervention, students should visit the Registration Lab (room B-218) if on campus, or e-mail the registration staff at springregistration@lagcc.cuny.edu (for Spring registration issues) or fallregistration@lagcc.cuny.edu (for Fall registration issues).
