Barnard Summer Science Program

The Intercollegiate Partnership (ICP) Summer Science Program at Barnard College is a coeducational summer program for highly motivated LaGuardia Community College students who are interested in science. The summer program is an intensive, 5-week residential program at Barnard College, a prestigious liberal arts college that is affiliated with Columbia University, situated on the upper west side of Manhattan. Unlike other summer programs, the Intercollegiate Partnership focuses exclusively on science education.  The summer program offers:

  • enrollment in 2 credit-bearing science courses co-taught by Barnard and LaGuardia faculty
  • tutoring and other support to help you succeed in this intense academic endeavor
  • counseling and information sessions about 4-year colleges and how to transfer to them
  • all expenses paid (including room and board) and a $500 stipend upon completion
