Student Success Mentors (SSMs)

The Student Success Mentor Program connects students in the First Year Seminar (FYS) course with current LaGuardia students and alumni. A Student Success Mentor (SSM) assists FYS students with ePortfolio and other assignments in class and in the FYS Lab. SSMs guide first year students in adjusting to college and getting to know LaGuardia and its resources. The Student Success Mentor Program is overseen by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
